Here is another in a long line of barcode readers, ScanLife. Completely free and easy to use ScanLife's only downside is the fact that the results open up in your browser as opposed to opening in the app itself. Is that a deal breaker? No. Just a little annoyance to me.
With that being said, ScanLife is by far the best barcode reader I've used. This wasn't always the case. When I used ScanLife on my old Curve it crashed constantly, when it ran. Now?... Wow. On my Bold2 9700 it is flawless. Starts up fast and runs smooth as silk. Simple, straight forward, and quick to provide results for you to price compare, ScanLife is this users barcode reader of choice.

Weather Plus is another in an increasingly growing list of free weather apps for BlackBerry smart phones.
Although this one isn't my favorite it is still a pretty good app (don't worry mmmooo I don't even have a favorite). The free version does provide basic weather info, in other words you'll know if you need an umbrella and pants or shorts and flip flops for the next 5 days. The free version also allows you to add multiple cities, I'm not sure if there is a limit but I have added 5 just for testing. Weather Plus also gives you the option to have the weather pushed to the home screen without needing a dedicated weather spot.

 You do need to unlock the full version for that BUT... Here's the best part... The full version of Weather Plus is free (for a ltd time of course). All you need to do is email mmmooo with your PIN and they will send you an unlock code.

Iheartradio is def one app that I use every day without fail. If I have my BlackBerry chances are very good that I have used iheartradio.
With a simple self explanatory interface the app is easy to use. Simply launch the app pick your city or let it find you using GPS. Once the city is selected you're presented with a list of local radio stations

Now just choose what station you want to listen to and you're next screen shows the station's logo and the album cover of the current song. The screen alternates between the two images.

Having trouble making up your mind? Try the randomizer. Click random and iheartradio picks a random station for you.
