A theme is a small application that changes how your blackberry looks and sometimes acts. OTA is just short for "over the air" as a opposed to a "zip" theme which is downloaded to your computer then you upload it to your phone via Desktop Manager.

Good site is Pocketberry.com lots and lots of free themes and you can download site launcher to your BB some free apps to.
